Two walks took place towards the end of 2007, which were of special significance. The ranger, Rob Smith, lead the Johnson family and friends to see the newly built Tom Johnson hide, where a brief dedication ceremony took place. In late November Rob Smith, once again, took a group of invited guests, to view the Tom Jhonson hide and the other two important developments on the Decoy: the installation of webcams and developments in and around the Gamekeepers Cottage.
