As the site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, there being very few surviving duck decoy in the country, the FoPP had to have the consent of English Heritage before we developed the on site part of the project.

The grant was supervised by The Countryside Agency, till it was disbanded in 2006. The Lottery Heritage Fund now administer the Local Heritage Initiative scheme. The project will be completed by October 2007.
