thumb_btcv_clear_the_drainBTCV visited the Decoy, again, on Friday, 19th November, to cut back more vegetation There was a serious flooding problem, caused by a blockage in the one and only, small outlet drain, from the site. Along with some FoPP members they tackled the problem and got the water moving. It'll be several days before we know how successful we've been. We plan to repeat the exercise, next Friday, if necessary.

It was hard going getting materials and equipment to the Decoy, with a very boggy field, and working, in such sodden conditions, on site. On the positive side, it was a really beautiful, sunny November day, which lifted us all.
