thumb_fopp_at_decoy_7.7.10_029The Friends of Pickerings Pasture (and Hale Duck Decoy) held an other project day, on Hale Duck Decoy, on the 20th August 2010.

With the support of Anne Faulkner, the new Pickerings Pasture ranger, we cleared a path round the decoy, to make it easier for visitors to walk round. There will be a Heritage Day walk there, from Pickerings Pasture, on the 11th September. Places are limited so ring Anne on 425 4706, if you'd like to visit.

New members are always welcome, to join in and help us look after our local environment and places of special interest for walkers, families and wild life enthusiasts.

Pickerings Pasture and Hale Duck Decoy are exceptional places that need enthusiastic helpers to help preserve their very special qualities.
