Nine members of the FoPP joined the ranger, at Pickerings Pasture, to tidy up the very overgrown willow arch, put a new roof on the vandalised lych gate and to do some cutting back in the area of the bird feeding station.

We were very lucky with the weather, as it was a glorious, sunny, autumn day.The jobs we did had an immediate visual impact on the site and left us all feeling that we had done something really worth while. If you think that you'd enjoy getting involved with our very friendly group and enjoy doing some outdoor work to improve the enviroment then pop along to our next meeting, on the 23rd November, or call in for a chat with the ranger, to see how you can get involved.
