Pickerings Pasture LNR

Pickerings Pastures is an area of meadows, shrubs, trees and pathways on the banks of the River Mersey. It has a Visitors Centre, free car park and bird hide.

GREEN FLAG AWARD
Pickerings Pasture was the first site in Halton to gain the Green Flag Award.
The scheme began in 1996, as a means of recognising and rewarding the best green spaces. It encourages high environmental standards, creating a benchmark of excellence in recreational areas.
