Social activities

Birdwatching

The Friends also organise social activities, like days out bird watching, at least twice a year. The Friends are always looking for new members. Just turn up at a meeting or give your name, address and telephone number to the Ranger and we will contact you.

In the last year we have spent a day out at Pennington Flash and an other at Martin Mere, bird watching. We also did a walk round Hale Duck Decoy, stopping at the Gamekeepers Cottage for lunch. In the past we have visited Moore Nature Reserve and some of us have been to observe the high tide activity at Parkgate.
